The ST800 pressure transmitter features comprehensive self-diagnostics to help maintain long uptime, regulatory requirements and high quality standards. Its wide range of 400:1 adjustment ratios and modular design allow users to redefine the range or replace electronic modules without adding transmitters or electronic modules with multiple adjustment ratio ranges to the inventory.
Working principle
The ST800 transmitter can replace any 4 to 20 mA output transmitter currently on the market and can operate in a standard two-wire system. Other features of the system include:
• A "three-in-one" piezoresistive sensor that combines a differential pressure sensor, a temperature sensor and a static pressure sensor delivers a complete, fully compensated output signal
• High-performance microprocessor with integrated A/D converter for faster response time, higher accuracy and wider adjustable range
• Offers a range of output communication options including 4 to 20 mA, Honeywell Digitally Enhanced (DE) protocol, HART and FF fieldbus
• Integration with Experion control system: improves performance and provides many other functions such as transmitter messaging, health observation diagnostics, maintenance mode indication, and disturbance alarm/indication.

| Gge pressure transmitter | The ST800 Dual Head Type Gauge Transmitter is suitable for applications requiring a small gauge flange or 1/2 inch NPT connection. Typical applications include gauge pressure measurement in reaction furnaces in the chemical industry and level measurement equipment for process temperatures up to 302 °F /150°C. The in-line transmitter is directly connected to a 1/2 inch male NPT connector and can be installed in hazardous environments for accurate and repeatable pressure measurements.
