The new capabilities in Experion PKS Orion are driven by Honeywell's advances in IIoT and open systems integration:
• Automatic device commissioning further optimizes LEAP lean project execution by late-binding devices to loop configurations created in the cloud. This reduces loop commissioning time from hours to minutes.
• Automatic skid integration makes it easy to automatically detect and configure Ethernet IP controllers in Experion SCADA systems, applying LEAP solutions to PLC integration.
• Experion for Electrical Control and Management Systems (ECMS) allows users to integrate their ECMS with process control systems and share a human-machine interface between the two.
• The Field Device Manager provides efficient smart meter management. • The Experion Profit Controller in the C300 and ACE moves multivariable predictive control from the Microsoft operating system to a Experion control engineering environment.
• The Experion supports various wireless network standards, including ISA 100.11a and WirelessHART.
