Overview
This product miniaturizes the electrical wiring part of the detector of the electromagnetic flowmeter suitable for engine cooling water flow measurement, making it easy to install in the engine compartment of the test vehicle and convenient to connect with the engine cooling water hose.
Features
• The inlet and outlet joints of the flowmeter can be disassembled and replaced, and the joints can be processed according to the inner diameter of the engine cooling water hose. In addition, for different sizes of engine cooling water hose, only need to replace the inlet and outlet joints can be measured.
• There is no protrusion in the flow path, and the pressure loss is small. The influence of upper and lower flow piping is small, and the requirement for straight pipe length is low.
• The electrical connection part of the detector has been miniaturized, and the signal line has a special connector to realize quick connection.
Measuring principle
The nonmagnetic measuring tube has a pair of electrodes in contact with the liquid, and excitation coils are arranged in the upper and lower portions of the flow path in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the electrodes.
A magnetic field can be generated by adding an excitation current to the excitation coil. When the cooling water flow, according to the principle of Faraday electromagnetic induction, a voltage proportional to the flow rate is generated between the electrodes. The flow rate can be obtained by measuring the voltage, and the flow rate can be calculated according to the cross-sectional area of the pipeline.
