Summary
This flowmeter is used to measure high temperature gas flow meter.
The flowmeter adopts the V-cone measurement principle, which can be used for stable measurement of high-temperature gas, save space, low pressure loss, and can resist oil and other impurities. It is the choice for high-temperature gas flow measurement.
V-cone flowmeter is a differential pressure flowmeter with many special features such as short straight tube length, stable flow (differential pressure) signal, no accumulated liquid or impurity part, etc. It is made of stainless steel, so it can correspond to the flow measurement of high temperature gas below 800 ℃, which is the best choice for flow measurement of engine exhaust system.
V-cone flowmeter and differential pressure transmitter (EDR-N7C) with temperature and pressure compensation function can be used in combination to automatically compensate for temperature and pressure, and can also perform high-precision mass flow measurement under the condition of fluid temperature and pressure changes.

Measuring principle
The measurement principle of V-cone flowmeter is the same as that of general differential pressure flowmeter, which is based on Bernoulli fluid energy conservation theorem.
As shown in the figure below, when the fluid approaches the V cone, the pressure of the fluid is P1. Then as the fluid passes through the V-cone, the flow rate of the fluid increases and the pressure of the fluid decreases to P2.
P1 and P2 are taken out from different pressure ports, and the differential pressure (ΔP) is calculated as the flow rate of the fluid through the differential pressure transmitter.
